Howard Ong
Howard has been in the Information Technology industry since 1991. A frequent presenter in international and regional events such as Oracle Open World and Oracle User Group Conferences, Howard has been developing Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems for most of his career. Since the advent E-Commerce, Howard has also played an integral role in a number of successful E-Business projects. Prior to setting up Aurora Consulting, Howard worked as a Senior Consultant for Oracle Corporation. Howard’s qualification includes a Bachelor of Business (Information Processing) with Distinction and Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) with First Class Honours. Howard exhibits an exceptional degree of diligence, initiative and aptitude in his work. As testimonies to these qualities, Howard was awarded Above And Beyond Awards while he was an employee of Oracle Corporation; and numerous honours while he was a student at Curtin University of Technology.

Paul Burton
Paul entered the IT industry after graduating from Swansea University in the UK with a 1st Class BSc Honours in American Management Studies. Paul joined Aurora after working as a consultant for Oracle Corporation for nearly five years. Since joining Oracle in 1993, Paul has been involved in a variety of projects and has gained experience in a range of Oracle products. His key skill set includes Oracle Designer, Oracle Developer, Oracle Application Server (formerly Oracle Web Server) and Oracle Express Objects. He has served in numerous projects where he participates in the full project life cycle of analysis, design, build and testing.

In addition to our in-house team of consultants, Aurora Consulting has a well established network of associate companies that it can called upon to provide appropriately skilled consultants for its projects. Where appropriate, Aurora would call upon the services of external consultants so that the best possible blend of business and technical expertise is afforded to the customer. Where external consultants are involved, Aurora would undertake the responsibility of managing these resources and subject them to Aurora’s stringent quality control and selection process. Every measure will be taken to simplify project accountability and maintain maximum transparency for the customer.
